The Culturist Turns 11
Today marks the 11th year of this blog. The passage of time this year has been strange to say the least.
Last year I wrote about how blogging has taken a back seat to social media and wondered if podcasting is the new blogging. This year I ask if newsletters is the new blog. I’ve seen so many newsletters launched as a form of communicating directly with readers. I’ve been thinking of launching a newsletter for a few years, but i kept procrastinating and now I’m wondering if I should jump on the bandwagon.
I never got a chance to throw a party to celebrate 10 years of the blog and I definitely won’t be able to throw a party now for the 11th. I hope by next year we can look back at the pandemic as a faded memory.
-fingers crossed-
I was hoping I’d write more this year, but I guess we can thank the pandemic for throwing out whatever plans we originally had in store for ourselves at the start of the year. I feel writing is getting harder instead of easier for me. But there’s still a few more weeks before the year ends, so I will try to share a few more posts with you.
In the meantime, I thank whoever continues to read this blog.
